Day 48

They had an "I Spy" event at the library tonight with all sorts of themed tables to search for lists of items. The girls loved it of course because they love the "I Spy" books. This is from the Dino themed table.

Day 47

I received a copy of my friend Tammy Robacker's poetry book, "The VICISSITUDES" today in the mail. I was so moved by it that I finished the whole thing tonight! :) It's irreverent and clever! Honest and poignant. Definitely worth checking out if you get a chance! http://www.tammyrobacker.com

Day 46

Matt's brother Jerry (AKA Hoss) wrote a song for the girls. It was cute. :)

Day 45

We had a large sheet up on the wall for looking at old time slides and digital slide shows (new and old technology at the same time, it was interesting!) Matt was playing with the camera on Herb's laptop which was projected onto the wall.

Day 44

Love this pic of Matt! It's him holding the John Mayer cut out that I gave him to represent the tickets (since they are digital, I didn't have them to put in the envelope).

Day 43

My hubby's aunt Sandy takes a nap snuggled with the stuffed animals (thanks to the girls). :)

Day 42

Day 41

My friend Kiersta sent me a cd she got signed for me by Jim White last year for xmas! What an awesome gift!!

Day 40

what a weird sign for a dentist. It looks like he's holding him up by gun point!

Day 39

A view from the recliner, which is where I lived and slept for about a week (because I couldn't sleep on the waterbed).

Day 38

A picture of my hubby when he was 3 or 4. Jasmine looks so much like him!

Day 37

Day 36

Day 35

I've been out of commission with my back so I'll be posting all the ones I've taken since the last one on the 15th.

Day 33

EDIT: I decided I liked another one from today better. So below is my honorable mention. lol.

We tried to go and see Santa today but he was "SOLD OUT" for the whole day. It sucks, but we'll try again tomorrow. Here's a pic of the chandelier outside of the Bass Pro Shop here in town where they have the Santa set up!

Day 32

I decided to save myself some trouble this year, and bought the base for the dolls that I make for the girls (every year).  I'm still going to make all their clothes (and accessories if I get time). I just don't want to over-extend myself again this year.

Day 31

Didn't get a chance to post it yesterday

Day 28

This is the license plate of the psycho  that tried to run me and the girls over in the parking lot at Walmart this afternoon. We were walking by one of the cart return things into an empty parking spot. She spun around the corner way too fast (especially since it's raining and the parking lot is slick). She then started to quickly pull into the spot and then realized we were there. I froze for a second because I didn't know what she was going to do. After about 10 seconds I started walking again, and apparently it wasn't fast ENOUGH for her and she started cussing and freaking out with her eyes the size of saucers and her body jerking like she was having a seizure.

Believe me.. if the girls hadn't been with me, it would have been a whole other situation!!

An original drawing called "Mr. Tornado Hair" by my eldest daughter! :)

Day 24

I have wanted to take a photo of this hall for a long time, and I always forget. This is on the inside hallway of the Creamery Arts Center here in town. I believe it is original, but I don't know for sure.

Day 10

A jar fairy I made for a little friend of ours 5th birthday. :) The glue was still a little wet when I closed it up and it hadn't dried at that point (when I took the pic at the wee hours in the morning-still technically today). I wish the detail would have showed through more. There was a large, cool looking river rock, green moss, and some fake flowers around and behind her.

I think I might try and sell them. If anyone is interested, let me know!

Day 1

This comes from a book that I found at the "Just Between Friends" consignment sale a few months ago. When I found it I was shocked that it was only 50 cents because it is the most unique and odd children's book I have ever seen.
